We uploaded today v20170701 of taxes. This version updated the rates of India to the new GST that took effect on 1st of July 2017.

The new rates are 0.25 %, 3%, 5%, 12%, 18% and 28%.

If you want just the new GST rates to appear when you press the tax button, make sure that the "Filter taxes" option in the settings is enabled.

Version 1.8.0 - Added China, Pakistan and South Korea

Today we released version 1.8.0 of VAT Calculator. In this version we added China, Pakistan and South Korea. We also updated India taxes, adding the 2% tax.

At the moment, their current VAT rates are:

• China - 3%, 5%, 6%, 11%, 13% and 17%
• Pakistan - 17%
• South Korea - 10%

Version 1.4.2 released - Added Australia, Colombia, New Zealand and Paraguay

We released today version 1.4.2 of VAT Calculator. We added four new countries with the help of our users. Thanks!!

The new countries and respective VAT/GST rates are:

• Australia - 10%
• Colombia - 4%, 5%, 8% and 16%
• New Zealand - 9% and 15%
• Paraguay - 5% and 10%

We also added a new rate of 4.5% to India.

Version 1.3.1 released - Added Japan and updated India tax

Another month, another release of VAT Calculator.

In this version, 1.3.1, we added the 14.5% tax to India (thanks to the user that suggested it). We also added Japan to the list, with a tax of 5%.

We introduced also improvements in the selection of the language inside the app - now when the language is selected the changes are immediate. There is another improvement regarding the option to keep the screen on. We hope that it is fixed now for all devices.

Version 1.2.2 released - Updated Portugal (Azores) and India taxes. Cambodia and Russia added

Today we launch another update to VAT Calculator, regarding an update to Portugal (Azores) VAT taxes introduced in 1st January 2014. The new VAT rates are:

• Portugal (Azores) - 5%, 10% and 18%.

Due to user request we also added the 13% rate to India.

In this new version we added two more countries, Cambodia and Russia: Their tax rates as of today are:

• Russia - 10% and 18%

We also corrected a bug introduced in version 1.2.0 regarding the decimal portion of the numbers. Do to the nature of the bug, we suggest that you update to this version as soon as possible.

Version 1.1.0 released - Barbados, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Senegal added

Today we released another update to VAT Calculator, version 1.1.0.

This version includes five new countries, Barbados, Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Senegal. These countries were suggested by our users using this form. Thank you for your cooperation!

You will notice another change to VAT Calculator, because we added to the countries list their respective flags, making the choice of countries much more colorful and interesting.
